Machine Operator

The Machine Operator is required to do certain tasks on a daily basis depending on requirements. The candidate will be responsible for solely ensuring that all task is to be completed within the specified time and to an acceptable standard.

Role Responsibilities

Set up machines at the beginning of shift to ensure proper working order.
Perform testing procedures to ensure the machines work optimally during the production procedures.
Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift.
Feed information to speed, shapes and sizes through the machine set up box.
Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimal running.
Troubleshoot problems during machine operation.
Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out.
Perform random tests to ensure accuracy.
Perform safety checks on every machine.
Ensure stocks of needed materials are ready and available at all times.
Create and maintain activity logs and production log sheets filled every hour with required details.
Provide relevant information regarding progress to supervisors.
Avoid unnecessary wastage from material during production.
